We came into Batavia, Ohio and meet with the owner of what we would later name the #leafdeck.
A really well constructed deck system that sits up under some trees. A blessing in the fact that they provide good shade. However also a curse as sometimes the provide too much shade , moisture, and constant shedding of leafs 🍃 onto the deck system.
From years of being protected with thin residential deck paints and stains, and not being under an Industrial film with continual support and care, there existed numerous problems.
Rotten boards , a disintegrating thin stain that was all but really just gone , loose nails , loose boards, dirt , grime , mildew growth , some uv or sun damage and more.
We came in and washed the deck structure up really well , removing all the dirt and grime and mildew.
From there we replaced all the bad rotten boards and planks on the deck with brand new premium severe weather pressure treated pine .
Then we worked on general deck maintenance ; tightening loose boards, setting down loose screws and nails , making sure the rails were secure , adding braces if needed.
Silverback Epoxy was brought in to fill in large deck post cracks , large cracks, voids , knots etc. The toughest deck filler and repair epoxy known to man. 3x harder than concrete
And finally 🙌 once we had a secure and sound clean Deck system , we brought in the World’s Toughest Deck Armor system Kong Armor and performed #lockdown #encapsulation on the newly restored deck with its absurdly tough , high-stretch, high-build film.
