This kicked off the second half of our 2024 Deck Armor Season here in the Cincinnati Tristate area. A little hietus, a little slow down typically occurs in July as families go on vacation and the kids are off school. August usually bring them back to dealing with the issues around the home that they need to address.
For this family it was a Backyard deck with some expired boards, thousands of surface cracks, splinters, frayed wood, loose deck rails, and two layers of peeling paint. One was a thin residential deck paint and under that was a layer of Peeling Behr Deck Over.
There was also a crap ton of silicone caulking that came up with it during the cleaning process. The last ” Deck Refinishing Pro” slammed tons of it down into the large cracks of the weathered 2×6 to try and hide their weathering with the thin residential paint used.
We Brought the real Deal……
Kong’s Deck Rescue Painters washed the structure 💦🚿, Replaced all its bad and Expired Boards and Planks and performed general Deck Maintenance 🛠️, We built a custom bottom step for the deck stairs, added braces to the rails, inserted over 300 Dollars of the World’s Toughest Deck post Crack filler and general Deck repair Epoxy – SilverBack Epoxy into the weather embattled structures large deck post cracks, knots, voids, carpenter bee holes. cracks, holes etc.

Kong Armor Engulfed the peeling deck paints on this backyard deck like it was nothing-. NO PROBLEM…… We Went on to Simultaneously rebuild the surfaces of the #marrondeck with Our Industrial Grade Elastomer until they had no openings….. so no cracks, no nail or screw holes open on the floor, and about 80 percent or more of all openings on the vertical surfaces of the deck were closed off.
