A Lawrenceburg, Indiana two-tiered deck with moderate weathering that included boards that were cracked, showing thousands of hailrines, cliffing , fraying etc.

Essentially ...middle aged pine deck boards that were never properly protected.

The deck also had minor maintenance issues , including a few rotten boards and a step . Brought on by fastener corrosion, and poor protection.

But by far the biggest challenge at this deck was the Massive Peeling Behr DeckOver situation.
A thick residential deck rescue coating applied typically by homeowners to resurface decks.

It was Peeling badly especially on the lower tier of this structure.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗼 ❓️

We came in and washed the deck and used some of our experience and trade secrets in removing peeling behr deck over , in order to rid the structure of all the loose peeling paint without sanding , or other high-labor tactics.

The end result after wards was a squeaky clean deck, with any and all loose coating off of it. The only DeckOver Remaining had good adhesion.

From there Restoration was performed , we replaced all the bad boards, tightened up the structure , added structural braces etc.

After that we used our Wold Famous SilverBack Epoxy , The World's Toughest Deck Repair Epoxy to fill in all the Large Cracks , and voids in the decks posts and surfaces. To close them off to Water 💧 #4life.

Finally , the Kong Armor 🦍 Deck Armor System was brought in and used to encapsulate and lockdown the Peeling Behr DeckOver, and simultaneously resurface the Deck System.

And Kong 🦍 made short easy work of complete engulfing any deckover that was left on this deck. Locking it down #4life.

It's so thick ,high-build, absurdly adhesive, heavy-bodied that no Sanding , or other high-labor peeling paint removal and or preparation processes are needed.
